INTRODUCTION

John Hogue is today, perhaps, the most renowned Nostradamus scholar. He was born in 1955, in Hollywood, where his parents worked in movie industry.

He himself also, in ‘70, worked in the similar milieu, performing as an actor and Opera singer. Then, when he was 22, he has embarked on an inner journey of self-observation, investigating and writing on subjects of the occult, parapsychology, mysticism and prophecy.

Today he is author of 10 books, that were printed in more then 1.000.000 copies in 17 languages, "Rogue" scholar, world authority on Nostradamus and the prophetic traditions of the world, a member of World Future Society, Zero Population Growth, and the World Academy of Creative Science, Arts, and Consciousness (WACSAC).

On January 22, 2005, just few hours after George W Bush was sworn for the President of the United States for the second time, he was interviewed by Alex Merklinger on Mysteries of the Mind show. During the show he described how he sees President now, after having listened to the part of his second inauguration speech, and has compared that with his earlier predictions about him that were result of his long ongoing studies of Nostrodamus prophecies and astrological analysis of President’s natal chart. Hogue also made partial comparative analysis of elements of this chart as related to the place where, and moment in time when President gave the oath, and to the chart of United States.

It would seem that President George W bush has astrological chart of a medium, a men of destiny, who listens to god of unknown origin.

From Mr. Hogue's presentation it would seem that we have some 30 years before us during which things will get steadily worse before they start, slowly, to get better, giving birth to New Humanity.

It will take only about 100 years to those who survive.

What follows is the transcript of this interview. It was written as accurately as it was possible while listening to the show that was recorded via the internet. Question and comments that were made by, as always, excellent show’s host, Mr. Merklinger, as well as part of Mr. Hogue’s own statements are left out to enhance the flow of guest’s expose.

PRESIDENT’S SECOND INAUGURATION SPEECH

(00:36:00) The things that scare us about this times are about the same things that would scare an expecting mother who is entering the first contractions of her first birth.

The first birth that we are about to embark on is the birth of Mature Humanity. It will take about 100 years.

I have been saying for 20 years, in my 10 books, before 1986 I was commenting about fact that around 1999 to year 2000, or shortly after, we would enter, we will end what George Will Apley called “Long vacation America has experienced with history”.

Things have been relatively quiet for couple of decades, at hold at least. Now we are entering the roller-coaster again. 

This day that we are doing this on, is the significant day because it happens to be the day of the second inauguration of George W Bush for second term as President. And I would say that a lot is going to happen for America in particular, and the world in General. Its strongly hinged on the way that he will make history incline, what direction it will go.

From the listening to his speech this morning, parts of it, and giving a feel for it, it would seem that many of the astrological predictions that I have been making about second term are now being nourished. This is a man with great ambition and a great vision, who has very little time, 4 years, to accomplish many history changing things. Also, there was in the tone of his speech, a laying down a gauntlet to countries that, according to him, do not follow the kind of political system that he thinks they should. And in doing so, basically saying in-between the lines, what I read was, “you either become democratic or else”.

It would seem that the stakes and the devil in the details of things that he has already pursued, are not being addressed with any conciliatory or a bringing together sort of energy but actually are more strident and more forceful movement forwards rather then a paused reflect.

NATAL CHART OF MEDIUM AND MAN OF DESTINY

(00:39:00) Now, something to understand of this President.

He has quite an astrological chart. It is a chart of a medium.

It is definitely the chart of a men of destiny. But it is also a chart that has some of most powerful afflictions that I have ever seen in an American President.

The afflictions, squares they call them in astrology, can be something that makes you look at that part of your personality that needs to be transformed. In a way, if you are a person on this planet visiting this world and in this form to learn and grow in enlightenment, your squares can be blessings, and your trines, your more positive and harmonious aspects, can actually be more dangerous because they can make you more lazy because everything comes easy to you.

(00:40:20) Mr. Bush has a number of very powerful squares.

One deals with his Saturn squares his Jupiter.

Saturn, this is reality checker. He is karmic ruler.

Saturn gets a bad rap, many people do not want to face the reality and see it as a black and the evil sign, but actually Saturn is simply a reality giver. Like a Zen master who hits you over the head with a stick and says:

“A-aaa, that does not work, that’s illusion!”

Jupiter symbolizes the higher mind, the extensiveness, kind of your tolerance potion.

When the two of them squared you have a real personality problem here that you have to surmount, and it is usually the personality problem that makes you short tempered, that makes you not look at your mistakes, stubborn, and dealing with your mistakes by actually being more forceful and more narrow-minded rather then considering the reality.

It is the sign of intolerance, the sign of self righteousness in religion and in politics. 

With this there is another, very hard square, and that is Neptune squared his Sun.

This is been described by Secorian and by other astrologers as the sign of the medium, but is also the sign, potentially, of the medium who is self-delusional.

Definitely the man is medium. The question though is, for what and for whom?  

There are certainly a number of press reports outside of this country.

In Israel for one thing, Mahmud Abass was interviewed by an Israeli paper and was asked what kind of things that George Bush talked to him few years back when he was, temporarily, the PM of Palestine, and now, of course, he is the President of Palestine. In that time he wrote, in 2002, it was reported that he said:

“Well, George Bush believes that God talks to him”. He told me: “God told me to strike Saddam Hussein and I did it. God told me to strike Bin Laden and I did it”.

Sun is his ego and Neptune is his spiritual ruler. Negatively aspected spiritual ruler is the indicator of your illusions that you have to surmount.

This dark aspect is also playing with Saturn and Jupiter’s negative aspect which, unfortunately, magnifies it.

I tried to find something in Bush’s chart that would help him.

Certainly he has some very fine aspects with Venus that make him beautiful, a great personal communicator behind closed doors, a person of tremendous charm. But none of that aspects can counterbalance this dark signs, except there is a sextile of Mercury.

Mercury Is a ruler of your intellect. So, it is possible that someone could talk with him and get his mediumship on track. Who knows how he thinks and can talk to him.

But it is not very strong aspect unfortunately, and  does not really counterbalance lot a negative side of his medium dark stars.

AND HIS VERY KARMIC TRANSIT

(00:44:30) On top of that, when he was reelected, Bush’s natal Saturn, that is Saturn he was born on, just happened to have been transited by the Saturn in our skies exactly between one degree difference on the night of his reelection.

What that means with the Saturn in Cancer?

Bush is a Cancer by Sun sign and his country is also born in Cancer, July 4, 1776. So there is something with Saturn and Cancer with quite a karmic connection that Bush has a destiny as a personification of America’s karma in the world .

What that says is of hard working Saturn in difficult rising above the struggle kind of thing. It is really strong in his chart. And to me he is applying him self very hard to learn, to grow, to grow in to the office of the President, nobody can deny that.

He has tremendous instincts politically, that’s the positive side of his mediumistic side. But, what is he channeling?

Unfortunately, he is more then likely channeling his subconscious, what he thinks is God, and he is channeling his ego which he probably does not have any believe that it is there, he is blind-sided to it. Short of been someone on path of meditation or someone who is introspective, which is not one of his strong suits, it is not a personality that will easily look at this things.

With that in mind, the Saturn is transiting thru his natal sign, thru Cancer, which is very karmic transit for the country. Basically it goes thru until the end of July this year and then it spends 2 years in Leo.

The way I look at his chart and U.S. chart I see a situation where the things would kind of loop along, but when the end of July comes and the 6 months following that, you will see a sudden spike, in the world, of intensity. Leo-Saturn often is a window for escalating warfare, it is often in the sign that war begins just as Mars in the Aries is the sign where wars take place.

It would be a time of intolerance, of protest and partisanship. I find it very interesting that Simon Hearsh just recently reported from his contacts inside the White House that the President is planning schematics and possible plans for an air strike on Iran to destroy its nuclear capability. He figures that the earliest they are planning to do this would be the Summer.

(00:48:42) We are entering a bellicose process. I believe that George Bush Believes that he is destined to take the axes of eagle down. He prefers to do it diplomatically but he is ready to do it, and confident to do it, militarily.

Believe is a very strong element in his personality. The problem with the psychology of believe, especially when you have this aspects, is that you do not pause and reflect. Believe is not knowing. …

The god of people with this Neptune squared the Sun is ignorant belief.

In the end, he is definitely an medium. I absolutely stand by that because of his aspects, but he is an afflicted medium.

(00:50:23) He may, with the right person, listen to reason.

But now I look at his new cabinet. …

That is the sign of someone that wants to see the World in certain way and surrounds himself in his bunker, in his Oval Office, with those people who paint the picture he wants to see. Recipe for disaster…

Unfortunately, he is following a pattern that was laid down 450 years ago by Nostradamus.
