FROM MIDDLE EAST ROAD MAP
FOR PEACE
In 2003 United States, as the leader of the "quartet" composed of the
United States, European Union, Russia, and the United Nations, formally
presented the "Middle East Road Map" to both Israel and the
Palestinian Authority, with its objective being the creation of a Palestinian
State by 2005. Embodied in this document, that was created by international
community, are the plans to solve the status of Jerusalem, borders of the Holy
Land, problem between the Palestinians and the Israelis and bring the long
absent peace to the Middle East.
In June 2003 President George W. Bush traveled to Middle East and signed it
together with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon), and Mahmoud Abbas, President
of Palestinian state which, officially, at that moment did not exist.
On September 20, 2005, during a press conference at the United Nations,
Condoleezza Rice (USA), Xavier Solana (European Union), Kofi Anan (United
Nations), And Sergey Alafrov (Russia), representing all nations of the Earth,
stated that they all are present to reaffirm the international community support
for "Roadmap For Peace".
However,
there is another most important party that has not been present at that event -
the God of Israel with whom Israelites have a long lasting covenant that
"Road Map" is in collision with.
Soon Sharon got ill and fell in coma, and Hamas then won democratic elections.
Hamas, a Palestinian anti-occupation organization closely related to the Muslim Brotherhood created in 1987, is best known throughout the world for carrying out attacks against Israeli civil and military targets to further its goal of creating a Palestinian state in the area that is, at this time, recognized as present-day Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza Strip, started to govern part of that what is, at present, part of Holy Land on March 28, 2006.
Hamas believes that "the land of Palestine is an Islamic trust consecrated for future Muslim generations until Judgment Day," and as such, the land cannot be negotiated away by any political leader.
The
Hamas emblem, which is linked to their manifest shows the Dome of the Rock, two
crossed swords, Palestinian flags, and a map of the land they claim as
Palestine.
TO PROMISED LAND
The primary covenants mentioned in the Holy Bible are the one between God and
the Israelites (Old Testament) and the one between God and the Christian Church
(New Testament). It is believed that the first one was the basis for Torah, and
the claimed status of the Israelites as God's "chosen people."
According
to the terms of this covenant, Israelites understand that God had promised to
undertake certain things on their behalf, and that they owed God obedience and
worship in return.
In Genesis 12:1-3; 13:14-18; 15:1-21; 17:1-22 can be found that God promised to
Hebrew patriarch Abraham:
-to make of Abraham into a great nation and to multiply his seed exceedingly
and to make him a father of great many nations,
-to bless Abraham and make him great,
-to make Abraham a blessing to all the families of the earth,
-to bless those who bless him and curse those who curse him,
-to give Abraham and his seed forever all the land which he could see,
-to give him a sign of the covenant (circumcision).
The Tanakh (Hebrew Bible referred to also as the "Old Testament" by
Christians), in Genesis 15:18-21, describes what is referred to in Jewish
tradition as Gevulot Ha-aretz ("Borders of the Land") and regarded as
the full extent of the land God promised to Abraham:
On that day, God made a covenant with Abram, saying: "To your descendants I
have given this land, from the river of Egypt as far as the great river the
Euphrates. The land of the Kenites, Kenizites, Kadmonites; the Chitties,
Perizites, Refaim; the Emorites, Canaanites, Gigashites and Yevusites."

Today spring of Euphrates river is in Turkey. It flows thru the middle of Syria
and Iraq and finishes in Persian Gulf. In the above context this
Promised Land would comprise, roughly, modern-day Israel (red area on the map), Jordan, Lebanon, much of Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, as well as
parts of Turkey and Kuwait, which corresponds to a geo-political term which is,
primarily, used in the Israeli-Arab conflict that refers to the maximal
extension of the State of Israel, or Greater Israel.
THRU AFGHANISTAN, IRAQ AND IRAN WAR
Denouncing Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, for "menacing talk"
about Israel while aboard of Air Force One en route to Nashville on February 2,
2006, "Scotsman" reports
that US president, also, said that he saw a "very good chance" that
the governing board of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) would refer
Iran to the UN Security Council for possible sanctions, referring to Iran’s
refusal to shut down their independent nuclear energy development program
(civilian and military).
"I am concerned about a person (Mr. Ahmadinejad
-
his image below is linked to his site) that, one, tries to rewrite
the history of the Holocaust, and two, has made it clear that his intentions are
to destroy Israel," Mr. Bush said. "Israel is a solid ally of the
United States, we will rise to Israel's defense if need be. So this kind of
menacing talk is disturbing. It's not only disturbing to the United States, it's
disturbing for other countries in the world as well."
Asked if he meant the US would rise to Israel's defense militarily, Mr. Bush
said: "You bet, we'll defend Israel."
Then next month, according Dailykos
Bush repeated this ultimate commitment to Israel once more. It came during the
Q&A session in his Cleveland speech, in response to a question he never
expected to be asked. Author of the article Devtob writes:
Corporate audiences are obviously less-screened than most of Bush's
"public" appearances, so someone asked:
"Author and former Nixon administration official Kevin Phillips, in his
latest book, American Theocracy, discusses what has been called radical
Christianity and its growing involvement into government and politics. He makes
the point that members of your administration have reached out to prophetic
Christians who see the war in Iraq and the rise of terrorism as signs of the
apocalypse. Do you believe this, that the war in Iraq and the rise of terrorism
are signs of the apocalypse? And if not, why not?"
Of course, Bush did not directly answer this loaded question. But what he did
say should have been news, but wasn't.
After saying he'd never been asked such a question, and .... that he'd never
"really thought of it that way," he launched into the usual
"September the 11th," "war on terror" .... before he
pronounced a substantial change in U.S. foreign policy:
"But now that I'm on Iran, the threat to Iran, of course, the threat from
Iran is, of course, their stated objective to destroy our strong ally Israel.
That's a threat, a serious threat. It's a threat to world peace; it's a threat,
in essence, to a strong alliance. I made it clear, I'll make it clear again,
that we will use military might to protect our ally, Israel."
Michael Carmichael, from The Planetary Movement Unlimited - UK on April 4, 2006 writes on Rense.com in article "Top UK Brass Plan For US Strike On Iran" in which he states that immediately after Condoleezza Rice visited north of England for a series of secret meetings and public appearances with Foreign Minister Jack Straw, the UK top brass held their own secret meeting Monday in London to prepare Britain for what they now describe as the "inevitable" U.S. military strike against Iran.
Current White Hall speculation, Carmichael writes, is that the U.S. will strike Iran's nuclear sites at some obscure date vaguely described as sometime later this year or next, and states that, in Britain, there are grave concerns that this will have a cascade effect and produce deeply negative reactions across the board in Iraq, the Middle East, and throughout the world. According to author, this will strengthen the hand of Iran's controversial president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
The
Executive declared war last March 16th, then Congress will pass H.R. 282,
"To hold the current regime in Iran accountable for its threatening
behavior and to support a transition to democracy in Iran.", writes Jorge
Hirsch in his article "Biological
Threat And Executive Order 13292"
on Rense.com
same day, continuing that history repeats itself. It obviously does.
So, now we have a threat to a strong alliance, to a covenant.
But Iran is outside of the Promised Land territories. It could be saved for later
use, except if the god is out of time.
And who is god?
