LEADING EDGE TECHNOLOGIES

to Novavax siteNovavax, Inc. is a rapidly expanding biopharmaceutical drug delivery company engaged in the research and development of differentiated drug products for large and growing markets. The company is applying its proprietary lipid vesicle encapsulation technologies to develop product candidates for the topical and oral delivery of generic and non-generic drugs, peptides, proteins and oligonucleotides.

At annual Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) held in San Diego on September 26, 1998, considered one of the country's top gatherings on infectious disease, James R. Baker, Jr. M.D., professor of internal medicine and director of the Center for Biologic Nanotechnology at the University of Michigan Medical School announced that preliminary laboratory studies indicate that BCTP, an nanoemulsion developed at the Novavax laboratories in Rockville, Maryland, may inactivate most, if not all, enveloped viruses that cause human disease, as well as spores, bacteria and sperm.

It was stated that the emulsion acts on the enveloped virus by first fusing or merging with the lipid envelope of the virus, opening gaps, through which then the solvent, carried by the lipid structures, destroys the inner membrane of the virus. Finally, the detergent, also carried by the lipid structures, degrades the inner contents of the virus.

This emulsion is also special in that it is non-toxic to people, animals and the environment.

In recent years military authorities have become increasingly concerned about the threat anthrax and other biological warfare agents pose both to the armed forces and civilian populations. To counter that threat, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), was/ is testing several possible new antidotes, BCTP included.

During the said conference was announced that the University of Michigan plans to conduct additional studies to evaluate BCTP's effectiveness against inhaled anthrax spores, as well as other bacteria and enveloped viruses, including here influenza A virus (that which causes pandemics) also. Funding for these studies has come from DARPA's Unconventional Pathogen Countermeasures Program.

On 01-07-1999 Novavax announced the formation of a new research collaboration with Organogenesis Inc. which designs, develops and manufactures medical products containing living cells and/or natural connective tissue. It was stated that this collaboration will combine the transdermal research technology developed in the Novavax laboratories, and the living skin technology developed by Organogenesis to explore new developments of mutual interest.

A month later Novavax has acquired  the Biomedical Services Laboratory Division of DynCorp of Reston, Va. The division, established in 1964, was engaged in contract research, development and pilot manufacturing of human vaccines for government laboratories and other vaccine companies.

March 13, 2000 brought the announcement that Novavax has been granted U.S. Patent 6,034,073 for "Solvent Detergent Emulsions Having Antiviral Activity," against agents such as Herpes simplex and Vaccinia, using an oil-in-water emulsion. In addition, a second U.S. Patent 6,015,832 has also been issued entitled "Methods of Inactivating Bacteria including Bacterial Spores," such as anthrax, using oil-in-water emulsions.

For the occasion, Mr. D. Craig Wright, M.D., Chief Scientific Officer of Novavax, stated also that, "We are pleased to receive two patents covering our extensive internal research in antimicrobial technologies, and the studies we conducted with Dr. Baker and his colleagues, under a program funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency of the U.S. Department of Defense. We certainly look forward to investigating further the ability of our nanoemulsion technologies to inactivate certain viruses, bacteria and bacterial spores."

Together with other 7 companies Novavax, on 09-29-2000, has been awarded a $850,000 grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) through a new initiative, the Challenge Grants that provides matching funds to companies who commit their own dollars and resources toward developing new drugs and vaccines against malaria, tuberculosis, influenza, dengue virus, and West Nile virus.

One of their specific approaches include flu vaccine preparation without the use of the chicken eggs, thus possibly  facilitating the H5N1 vaccine preparation.

For the occasion, John A. Spears, president and CEO of Novavax, stated: "This grant is one of several ongoing government-sponsored projects, and reflects the creativity and scientific expertise of Novavax's BSD research team, not to mention the unique methods we employ in creating novel approaches to combating viruses such as influenza.

to CSIRO Wildlife Ecology siteAnother significant ground-breaking technology is promoted to in-filed research phase by well known Australian environment research agency, CSIRO Wildlife Ecology, consisting of viral-vectored immunocontraception targeted at local pests, a wild European rabbit, house mice and red fox population. It will use pests’ immune system to attack their own eggs and sperm as though they were foreign cells.

This is somewhat different approach to the fertility control problem in general from that of Novavax company. Click on CSIRO logo to learn much more.

VACCINE PROBLEMS

On 10-06-2000, CDC Media Relations Office of Communications has released the Flu Vaccine Supply Update. This are it's most important excerpts:

Updated recommendations from the ACIP in response to delays in supply of influenza vaccine for 2000-01 influenza season

This update provides information on the influenza vaccine supply situation and updated influenza vaccination recommendations by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) for the 2000-01 influenza season.

Influenza vaccine supplies that are expected to be distributed this year should be approximately equal to what was distributed last year, but a substantial amount of vaccine will reach providers later than usual. .....

..... Most vaccine doses usually become available to providers by October, with 99 percent of distributed doses available before December. This year, as many as 18 million doses are expected to be distributed in December.

Because of the potential health impact of delayed flu vaccine availability, CDC and ACIP updated recommendations for the 2000-01 season. The overall goal of these recommendations is to minimize the adverse health impact of delays on high risk persons.

Persons at high risk from complications from influenza are:

- persons aged 65 years and older;
- residents of nursing homes and other chronic-care facilities that house persons of any age who have chronic medical conditions;
- adults and children who have chronic disorders of the pulmonary or cardiovascular systems, including asthma;
- adults and children who have required regular medical follow-up or hospitalization during the past year because of chronic metabolic disease (including diabetes mellitus), kidney dysfunction, blood disorders (hemoglobinopathies), or immunosuppression (e.g., caused by medications or HIV);
- children and teenagers (aged 6 months to 18 years) who are receiving long-term aspirin therapy and therefore might be at risk for developing Reye syndrome after influenza infection;
- women who will be in the second or third trimester of pregnancy during the influenza season.

The recommendations are as follows:

1. When influenza vaccine becomes available, vaccination efforts should be focused on persons at high risk of complications associated with influenza disease and on health care workers who care for these persons. .....

.... 3. Mass vaccination campaigns should be scheduled later in the season as availability of vaccine is assured. Given projected vaccine distribution, in most areas, campaigns will be scheduled in November or later. Efforts should be made to increase participation by high-risk persons and their household contacts, but other persons should not be turned away. .....

.....6. Vaccination efforts for all groups should continue into December and later, as long as influenza vaccine is available. Production of influenza vaccine will continue through December, and providers should plan for how vaccine provided late in the season can be used effectively.

7. Pneumococcal vaccines are recommended by ACIP for many of the same high risk persons as for whom influenza vaccine is recommended. .....

Pneumnia and Influenza mortality chart for 122 US Cities

Above is a Pneumonia and Influenza Mortality Chart compiled for the week 20 ending with 05-19-2001 by Center For Disease Control And Prevention at Atlanta for US. It shall be updated as time and events permit.

Note relative increase in deaths during last weeks of year 1999 and first weeks of year 2000 as compared to the same period of year before, as well as increase in percentage of deaths during off-season periods of same years (weeks 30 to 40). Also, note that seasonal baseline and epidemic threshold are placed higher every year.

Most intriguing are results of this year which show sharp drop in mortality, despite the widely spread flu-like illness, which is now a common occurrence during a whole year. It is to early to be commented upon.

Data relative to the related total number of flu cases are, and of course will remain, impossible to collect, but the Influenza Viruses Isolates Chart above, again a curtsey of CDC, can give some additional insight in the development of this year's disease season. This chart shall be also updated as circumstances permit.

Full Flu Vaccine Supply Update text and latest US influenza status data are available at CDC Media Relations Office of Communications page which is linked to the Isolates Chart above.

Below is the CDC Influenza Activity Estimates chart showing illness status by state on May 19, 2001.

As local and worldwide flu developments so far show, it shall be interesting to monitor this source in the near future.

INPOSSIBLE ANSWERS

Influenza viruses are usually spread by droplets and airborne aerosols produced by an infected person who is coughing or sneezing, best in closed spaces, during periods of the year which are rich with airborne moisture.

Artificial, mostly low cloud cower maintained by chemtrail sprayings creates and maintains beneath itself, frequently for weeks, calm, temperate, moisture and nanoparticle rich environment protected from UV radiation.

This could make airborne mycoplasma, fungus and AIDS, flu or similar virus propagation possible, especially if protected by micro dispensers similar to those proposed by patent which was awarded in 1976 to Albany International Corporation (click here for patent)

Making one or, better, more steps further, it could be added: and/or correspondent prion propagation.

Furthermore, it must be noted that the new technologies seem to permit administration of the drugs through the skin surface.

to Cliford Carnicom siteThis road of medication/ contamination could be significantly aided by the fact that the main agent used for cloud layer formation, which according to the Clifford E. Carnicom and his collaborators was found to be barium oxide (click on the adjacent image for details), falling through atmosphere attracts airborne moisture forming barium hydroxide, alkaline compound. It is to be expected that compound of this characteristics, when dissolved in moisture on the skin surface, causes it's irritation and even damage like that reported before on the first page of this article (click here).

All of this makes present flu-like epidemic, which spans Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy, as well as US and Australia clearly chemtrail related.

The same case is with the mayor floods in Italy and Spain at the end of the October 2000. This example of out-of-control Geoforming shall be pursued in a separate article.
