INFLUENZA PANDEMICS

The name to influenza was given by eighteenth century Italians, who blamed the disease on the influence of heavenly bodies.

Influenza viruses are divided into types A, B and C, plus subtypes of A. Type C may not be a true influenza virus and usually causes only mild or asymptomatic disease.

A type human influenza viruses, link to the WHO siteCurrently there are three different influenza strains circulating worldwide: two subtypes of influenza A and one of influenza B (image on the right shows A type human influenza viruses, courtesy of CDC Atlanta, USA). This disease comes in seasonal epidemics which occurs due to minor changes in the influenza viral antigenic proteins (antigenic drift). These account for most of the changes in the viruses from one season to another.

Occasionally, independently of season, a major antigenic change, called antigenic shift, can occur in type A influenza virus, creating a new influenza strain to which nobody is immune. Some of antigenic shifts result in world-wide epidemics called pandemics.

In this century three influenza pandemics occurred. Spanish flu, which was caused by influenza A(H1N1) virus, during period from 1918 to 1920 took some 20.000.000 lives and probably caused the World War I to end. Asian flu in 1957 and Hong Kong flu in 1968, both caused by influenza A(H2N2), together killed more than 1.500.000 people.

There is evidence that the viruses which caused these epidemics originated from animals (from swine in 1918, and from birds in 1957 and 1968). It is said that they have jumped species, from animals to humans.

In the spring of 1997 virus A(H5N1), known to infect only various species of birds, including here chickens and ducks, killed approximately 1,6 million chickens, ducks and geese in Hong Kong.

In May 1997 this virus strain was isolated from a child who died in Hong Kong. Following intensive surveillance revealed 15 additional cases by the end of 1997, all of them in Hong Kong. Although the exact means of transmission of H5N1 to humans have not yet been identified it is believed to come through the contact with infected birds.

At present, World Health Organization (WHO) does not recommend the production of a specific H5N1 vaccine. However, WHO's Collaborating Centers on influenza are working with various H5 strains to prepare high growth reassortants which could be used for vaccine production, in case of need. This work is complicated by the fact that the original virus isolates from Hong Kong also kill fertilized eggs which are used for vaccine production. The preparation of a vaccine would take several months after the selection of a suitable virus strain.

And no one knows when the next pandemic will occur.

The risk of exposure to influenza depends on personal health status, climate and period of the year.

In temperate regions of the Southern Hemisphere, such as parts of Australia and South America, most influenza activity occurs from April through September. In countries of the Northern Hemisphere, such as the United States and Canada, influenza generally occurs from November through March.

However, in the tropics, such as the Caribbean, influenza can occur throughout the year. This is because it's virus best propagates within temperate surroundings where high levels of airborne moisture or aerosol are present.

Symptoms of this illness are fever (often higher in children), cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, headache, muscle aches, and often extreme fatigue. Usual recovery period is 1 to 2 weeks.

In an average year, only in the United States, more than 100,000 persons are hospitalized and more than 20,000 deaths are related to influenza.

AND SOMETHING SIMILAR

West Nile Virus was first isolated in the West Nile District in Uganda in 1937.

Since then it has spread through Africa, southern Europe, Middle East, west and central Asia, Oceania, and most recently, North America.

It propagates in temperate zone of the world (i.e., between latitudes 23.5° and 66.5° north and south), but in the southern climates where temperatures are milder, West Nile virus can be transmitted over all year.

For domestic and wild birds the disease is fatal.

Most people who are infected with the West Nile virus have no symptoms or may experience mild illness such as a fever, headache and body aches before fully recovering. Some persons also develop a mild rash or swollen lymph glands. In some individuals, particularly the elderly, West Nile virus can cause serious disease that affects brain tissue. At its most serious, it can cause permanent neurological damage and can be fatal. Encephalitis (inflammation of the brain) symptoms include the rapid onset of severe headache, high fever, stiff neck, confusion, loss of consciousness (coma), muscle weakness, or possibly death.

West Nile Virus, link to the U.S. Geological Survey reportCDC states that the outbreak of West Nile virus that occurred in the New York City metropolitan area in the late summer of 1999, when over 60 persons, including 46 residents of New York City, were infected with this virus, of which seven, including four New York City residents, died, may mark an important milestone in it's development.

The reason for this opinion could lay in that, formerly, majority of infections have been identified in birds and now they are apparent in horses, cats, bats, chipmunks, skunks, squirrels, domestic rabbits and raccoons also. Furthermore, the believe that West Nile Virus is transmitted between birds and humans by infectious mosquitoes only is now challenged by the October 25, 2000 U.S. Geological Survey research report showing that the transfer of this disease between birds is possible without the participation of it's vector. This could make it very difficult to control in conventional way, by aggressive aerial and localized sprayings of pesticides on mosquito infested areas.

to CDCAccording to the CDC, recent outbreaks of West Nile Virus encephalitis in humans have occurred in Algeria in 1994, Romania in 1996-1997, the Czech Republic in 1997, the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 1998, Russia in 1999, the United States in 1999-2000, and Israel in 2000.  Epizootics of disease in horses occurred in Morocco in 1996, Italy in 1998, the United States in 1999-2000, and France in 2000. In the U.S. through September 2000, WN virus has been documented in Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and the District of Columbia.

FLU-LIKE ILLNESS EPIDEMIC

to Coast to Coast show AM archives 09-27-2000 Coast to Coast show AM, which was hosted by Mike Siegel, had as a guest Saen David Morton (Delphi Associates), who, during the interview stated that they have stopped spraying Los Angeles for two months, through July and August.

Then, on 09-19-2000, he witnessed that from the nearby Edwards Air Force Base tankers were lifting in hurry and started gigantic chemtrail grid-pattern over Los Angeles.

That was when the flu epidemic there started.

Streaming audio page of this interview is linked to the above Coast to Coast image.

In a E-mail received on 10-14-2000, a colleague researcher, Joanne Meehan, resident of the Elm Grove, Louisiana, USA, among other things wrote:

..... I became very ill in early Oct.1999 as did many people throughout the USA. The emergency rooms at hospitals were packed. My illness was very severe and lasted until end of January,2000...and I only improved after a regime of several antibiotics and still do not feel "like my old self".....

..... So many people sick with same symptoms that autumn and also the year before. Oct.1998 in autumn. Illnesses definitely seemed to coincide with heavy chemtrail events both years and we are now having VERY HEAVY spraying here that started this Sept.2000. Spraying even at night or all night plus daytime. Causes burning eyes, sore throats, nausea, dizziness, asthma and/or bronchitis. Also, severe muscle spasms and pain and terrible fatigue. .....

..... Yes, we get "metallic taste" and skin hurts and burns even from tiny shower droplets when taking shower. Dryness of mouth and extreme thirst very annoying. .....

Another colleague in E-mail dd. 10-18-2000 stated:

Here in the Phils. (Philippines) almost everybody had flue lately, have to look out for chemtrails.

to Julie King siteJulie King, renown writer and researcher, on the pages of her site has registered the occurrence of the local flu epidemic during Australian Olympic Games (click on adjacent image)

In her post related to October 17 sprayings she notes:

Yesterday a thunderstorm rolled in here, and a great lightning and noise show it was! Only had two small and light showers from it though. The second time it rained I was outside, and looked up as it started. A raindrop caught me on the inside corner of my eye.
No problem...I wiped it away and got on with my work. But half an hour later my eye started to sting like crazy. I washed it out, but the pain continued past midnight last night, and my eye is sore today.

SO WHAT WAS IN THAT RAIN, FELLAS?
Sure puts a new spin on acid rain!

IN ITALY AND BALKANS THEY DON'T HAVE A CLUE

Locally, in Rijeka, in the first half of September, 2000, there was a period, lasting only few days, during which strange sensation of moisture leaden and oily, skin-piercing atmosphere was present

Starting with the end of April of this year It came to my attention that unusual number of my business partners here in CROATIA (locals in Rijeka and residents in nearby isle of Krk, those some 400 km to the south-east in Dalmatia), those abroad, in Sarajevo in central BOSNIA and HERZEGOVINA, as well as those 150 km to the north-west in ITALY, had or have a flu or a flu – like illness which is characterized by high temperature (39 deg.C) lasts 2 to 3 days and which leaves behind a feeling of never having healed completely.

I never had any kind of flu, but I had felt severe difficulty in breathing during the same time period, lasting several days.

Same filling returned again on 09-30-2000 as a new chemtrail session started, after a three day long pause during which all seemed to return to normal.

Jutarnji list logo Here is translation of the short article from the second page of Croatian leading daily, Juratnji List (Morning Leaf) published on 10-03-2000:

Flu-like illness wave in Croatia

ZAGREB - Many residents of Croatian capital, as well as citizens in the other parts of country, in last few days have requested medical help because of the flu-like illness, was reported from medical circles.

-In the last two weeks arrival of patients with infections of upper respiratory channels is on the increase. Mainly, symptoms are increased temperature, cough and difficult nose breathing and they are the consequence of various flu-like illness caused by various viruses - it was stated by Med. Dr. Neda Krsek from the town’s Central Health Center. To her patients, as well to others, she advised to take Andol (local variant of Aspirin), vitamin C pills, to drink lots of liquid and take nose drops and syrup against cough if needed. If temperature persists for more than few days it is necessary to visit a physician. As a rule, illness lasts few days and if patient holds on to the basic rules, various complications are avoided.

-It is advisable to remain at home for a few days to allow organism to concentrate on fighting the illness and recuperation. Going to work is not advisable in order to impede illness from spreading - underlines Dr. Krsek. She adds that the temperature differences favored illness development because, during acclimatization process, organism is subjected more to different infections, such as those which had chained many inhabitants of Zagreb to bed.

It is important to note that during August, September, October and November, temperatures were within regular limits, but that airborne moisture levels were frequently elevated. There were no sudden temperature oscillations worth of notice, except in a short period, lasting few days, when there was 8 deg. C temperature drop down to 23 deg. C. The most striking observation was that weather is somehow leveled out, it lacks familiar weather patterns and sudden changes which were regular for this part of the year in the region. It is stationary and lately often with heavy cloud cover, which is maintained by daily airborne sprayings of BaO by NATO.

Comment of Dr. Krsek is a classical comment of a family doctor who has no clue regarding the cause of disease thus calling it Flu-like illness.

Weird part is that in Croatia was never experienced a flu epidemic in this part of the year.

In line of work, on 10-12-2000, I have, accidentally, during the same day spoken with colleges in Reggio Emilia (500 km to north-west in ITALY), Zagreb (180 km to north in CROATIA), Sarajevo (400 km to south-east in BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA) and Skopje (1100 km to south-east in MACEDONIA). Every one of them, except a friend in Skopje, had something they called a flu in last three weeks.

Croatian daily Jutarnji list on 11.02.2000 on page 5 announces that in October, more than 30 children of Imotski and Makarska, in Dalmatia (middle and southern Croatian Adriatic Sea shore), fell ill from meningitis. Officials say that meningitis was of virus origin and that it is of benign type. It is thought that this is the continuation of this Summer's epidemic because warm an dry period allowed virus to survive. According to records, starting with July this year (when aerial sprayings of Croatia began) total of 200, mostly school children become ill.

Dr. Mladen Smoljanovic, specialist epidemiologist, Chief of Public Health Institute sated that benign meningitis is the consequence of infection with virus causing intestine inflammation, elevated temperatures, nausea and, in some cases brain envelope inflammations. It is thought that this epidemic shall subside with oncoming colder days.

During the week starting with 11-15-2000, number of cases in Croatia is still on increase.

So far, except the above article and the short, unnoticed notice in local daily Novi List, there was no official recognition of the epidemic.

As now sky is covered with artificial, dark-gray cloud layer all the day, for weeks, people is becoming nervous. During the Croatian Radio main news service on 11.14.2000 at 15:20 CET, in the course of  reportage related to the Influenza vaccination, family physician practicing in Zagreb stated that in his 20 years of practice he has never seen such interest for vaccination. This time all available Influenza vaccine of some 280.000 doses was used in only three days.

Representative of the related state's Health Service expressed a doubt that significant additional quantities of this preparation can be found in the world market at this time. At the end it was remarked that there shall not be epidemic outbreak this season and that only regular 30.000 illness cases are expected to be registered.
