OK here is a “graphic experiment”.  I took photos today from 2:10 PM through 3:00 PM.  I decided to see how many of the mystery white jets I could get in that time frame. So here is a collage of them.  That makes eleven and that is not all of them by any means; some didn’t show up through haze or were too far away to see through the camera.  Pretty busy sky over a small section of Auburn for 50 minutes.  Of course they didn’t stop at 3:00 PM, I was just sick of running outside and making my neighbors nervous!  I had been in Portland earlier this day and observed heavy spraying there 45 minutes away.  The forecast was calling for the “increase in clouds” and that  must be why I was able to make this photo.  This is not the usual amount of air traffic over my house!  Well actually it is becoming increasingly like this these days…

The “increase in cloudiness” clouds never look quite right to me.
