I knew today was going to be a heavy chem haze day after the show in the sky yesterday.  Although the attack was centered around Portland, there is no escaping for Auburn residents.  Chem haze and clouds often look pinkish at sunrise and sunset.  It is about 7:00 AM here and the hills are obscured with tinted haze.

What is it about chem clouds that make them glow pink-red in certain lights?

I can see it won’t be long before there will be no sky showing today.  I wonder what the chem jets do when we can’t see them through the whiteout?  I would like to briefly thank the people who have emailed me from this web site.  I appreciate your support and sometimes it helps to talk.  I certainly would like to hear you questions, comments, and concerns and I am pretty good about getting back to you!
